Model BR20SOL Interlock Kit fits Eaton / Cutler Hammer 20-position panels having a 2-pole gen breaker AND a 2-pole solar beaker installed. Vertical spacing between the bottom edge of the main breaker knockout  and the top edge of the gen breaker knockout should be approx. 1 1/4" to 1 7/16" as shown."
 
Operation is as follows:
 
Position 1 - Generator breaker is locked out and main and solar breakers may be turned ON or OFF independently of each other. All other breakers are unaffected.
 
Position 2 - Main breaker AND solar breaker are BOTH locked out and generator breaker may be turned ON or OFF. Again, all other breakers are unaffected.
