Model BR-L-SOL Interlock Kit fits Eaton/Cutler Hammer panels having a single, horizontal-throw, top mounted main breaker with approx. 1 3/8" spacing from the bottom of the main breaker cover cutout edge to the top of the closest branch breaker cover cutout edge.
 
This kit is designed for panels having a solar AND generator power source in addition to the utility power. Operation is as follows: When the main breaker is "ON", the solar breaker MAY be turned "ON" also but the gen breaker is locked out. In the second position, the gen breaker may be turned "ON" but the main breaker AND the solar breaker are BOTH locked out.
 
The 2-pole solar breaker MUST be mounted at the top of the left breaker column as shown and the 2-pole gen breaker MUST be mounted directly under the solar breaker. Note that the breakers shown in the photo do NOT represent the actual solar and gen breakers that will be installed.
 
This kit is not yet a full production run kit, so it is not our signature blue anodized color. It is precision CNC machined from solid aluminum billet however, and looks very professional and fits very well. The kit includes everything necessary to complete the installation including all hardware, the correct size drill bit, name brand thread lock compound, a full warning placard set, and clear installation instructions.
