Model SD400L-SOL Generator Interlock Kit fits Square D panels having two main breakers, one being spaced approx. 8 1/4" above the branch breaker stack and the second main spaced approx. 3 5/8" above the first main as depicted in the photo.
 
This interlock has two positions. In position 1, one or both of the  Main and Solar Main breakers can be turned on, but the generator breaker is locked out. In position 2, the generator breaker may be turned on but BOTH the Utility Main breaker AND the Solar Main Breaker are locked out at the same time and cannot be turned on.
 
This kit is not yet a full production run kit, so all components are not our signature blue anodized color. It is precision CNC machined from solid aluminum billet however, and looks very professional and fits very well. The kit includes everything necessary to complete the installation including all hardware, the correct size drill bit, name brand thread lock compound, a full warning placard set, and clear installation instructions.
